November 2024 Therapy Day

All cutting must be done prior to Therapy Day. You will need to cut a total of 120 wedges, 72 9” wedges for triple row top (48 wedges if you are making a double row instead of triple); 24 21” wedges for backing (24 15 ½” wedges for backing a double row); 24 17 1/2”batting wedges (24 12 ½” batting wedges for a double row). Good cutting instructions are given in the pattern so read it carefully.

On therapy day you will need to bring all your pre-cut wedges, sewing machine and your usual sewing supplies (thread, scissors, pins, marking tools, measuring tape or ruler and whatever else you like to use), iron and pressing supplies. Since all cutting will be done prior to therapy day, you will not need a rotary cutter, mat, etc. If you have purchased the special ruler (24” 15 degree creative grids) you might like to bring it.

The most important thing is to be sure to have all the cutting done. Those wedges can be scrappy, all one fabric, or any mix you desire. Our goal on therapy day will be to get all of the wedges sewn and pressed and as much assembly as we have time for.
